JOLENE FARMER

About Jolene

Jolene is a 10-year resident and community member in Orford, NH. She is a mom of 4 children and 2 dogs, a wife, former small-business owner, and she is running for NH State Legislature in Grafton 6.

One of Jolene’s first jobs in NH was working at the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact. There, she learned about the importance of advocating for the under-privilidged and fighting for justice in her community.

Since then, she’s been a staunch advocate for women, children, educators, and workers. She is committed to making Orford, Wentworth, and Rumney more affordable and sustainable for all residents. She intends to improve public education, protect reproductive rights, increase green energy, and restore compassion to the communities she loves so much.

Watching her children go through public school in Orford made her passionate to fight for improvements in public education. She advocated at school board meetings for winter tires on school buses and pay raises and insurance benefits for public school teachers. Jolene is dedicated to increasing funding for public education and restoring NH schools as the great equalizer.

Jolene also watched her children struggle to decide whether they can afford to stay in NH and start their lives here. She is committed to making Orford, Wentworth, and Rumney more affordable and attainable for young people to live and grow their families. She knows that residents are struggling to keep up with increasing taxes, and she is determined to advocate for those affected most by rising costs.

Jolene is passionate, dedicated, and excited to serve Grafton 6 as their next State Representative. Feel free to learn more about the issues Jolene cares about most, either by clicking here to read more or contacting her directly here. To donate to Jolene’s campaign, click here.
