Meet Jolene Farmer
Jolene is running for New Hampshire state legislature in Grafton 6. She is the daughter of a hardworking single mother of five girls who worked tirelessly to make ends meet. Watching her mom leave for work early in the morning and return late in the evening from her second job, Jolene understood from a young age that nothing comes easy. It was these early experiences that taught her the value of hard work, the importance of resilience, and the power of hope.
As a 10+ year resident of Orford, Jolene knows that New Hampshire's greatest resource is its people. She believes that the government should focus on public education, reproductive rights, the environment, and affordable housing. In the legislature, she will bring a fresh, vibrant voice to make sure that public policy is truly helping people in New Hampshire's rural towns.
